THE WHY...

For most of my life, I followed the path that made sense.

I studied hard.
Graduated.
Chose finance.
Built the kind of career that looks right on paper.

And I genuinely enjoyed it.

But at some point, I started asking myself a different question:

Is this what I want to build right now?

Not what sounds impressive.
Not what feels safe.
What feels intentional.

I realized I didn’t want to abandon ambition.
I wanted to redefine it.

I wanted to create something tangible.
Something real.
Something that could bring people together, even for a few minutes.

That decision became KITZ.

THE WHAT...

Cheesecake might not seem like a logical next step after finance.

For me, it was.

It’s simple.
There’s nowhere to hide.

No decoration to distract.
No complexity to cover mistakes.

It either works, or it doesn’t.

That discipline felt familiar.

So I approached it the same way I approached everything before:

Refine, Test, Adjust, Repeat.

Until nothing unnecessary remained.

KITZ is the result of applying rigor to something creative.
Of treating indulgence with standards.

Classic, yes.
But intentional.
